Physiotherapy is a medical profession that uses the knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to improve an individuals’ well being.

Physiotherapists are considered first line practitioners. A doctor’s referral is therefore not needed in order to consult with a physiotherapist.

Physiotherapy aims to find the cause of the condition through in depth assessment and treating this to provide long term relief. This is in addition to relieving the symptoms an individual presents with, improving functionality and preventing recurrences.
